In instances where a customer might have slowed purchasing, the customer’s existing point balance and/or bonus points can be used to re-engage the customer and encourage the “next” purchase. Ultimately, if the customer continues to not purchase, we typically include a sunset clause in the program Terms & Conditions, where points expire if there has been no activity on the account in 24 months.
