Job description:

We are seeking a part-time Email Marketing Specialist to work 2-3 days per week, for 2-3 hours each day, with flexibility to adjust hours based on workload. This person will play a critical role in developing assets and deploying email campaigns. Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required, as is a keen eye for detail. This role is ideal for someone looking to balance multiple clients or other responsibilities.

The role:

You will be responsible for the seamless deployment of our email campaigns, ensuring each one meets our high standards through meticulous quality control checks prior to deployment. You will develop and optimize email assets, collaborating closely with our marketing team to align email strategies with broader marketing goals.

What your day might look like: 

• Collaborating with the team to ensure email campaigns align with overall marketing strategies.
• Developing and optimizing email assets, including templates and graphics, ensuring consistency and quality across all platforms.
• Building and executing monthly client email communications.
• Utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools to effectively build and deploy the emails.
• Supporting the implementation of new marketing initiatives, including surveys, journeys, dynamic content development and SMS messaging, to align with client strategy.
• Conducting thorough quality control checks on email content and layout before deployment.
• Analyzing email performance and providing actionable insights to improve future campaigns.

Who you are:

• You have 2+ years experience with digital marketing and email deployments. 
• You have demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Constant Contact and/or other email platforms are an asset.
• You have a creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and innovative graphics for email content.
• You can multitask and prioritize while maintaining high attention to detail and performing quality control checks to ensure error-free communication.
• You have a basic understanding of HTML and CSS for email template customization.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to craft engaging content.
• Your understanding of email marketing regulations and best practices includes CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
• You have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• You can quickly adapt to new tools, trends, and strategies in email marketing.
• A loyalty/reward background is a plus.
• You have excellent time management abilities and can work independently and efficiently.
• You have the discipline to be able to work independently from home. 
• You have a positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
